A small amount of your blood is drawn and processed in the closed Selphyl® system to concentrate the platelets and convert the plasma into a fibrin matrix. The platelets carry a rich mix of growth factors — including PDGF, TGF-β and VEGF — which become held within the fibrin scaffold.
